US presidents flashcards for iPhone
Every presidency in order: the ordinal and years in office on the front, the name on the back. Forty-seven cards, and yes, Grover Cleveland is two of them.
What’s inside
Everyone knows the 1st, the 16th, and the 32nd. The deck earns its keep in the stretches between: the 1850s parade of Fillmore, Pierce, and Buchanan, and the Gilded Age run where Hayes, Garfield, and Arthur blur together. Each front carries the years in office alongside the ordinal, so the dates anchor the name instead of floating free, and reviews naturally concentrate on the presidents you keep confusing.
The deck counts presidencies, not people. Cleveland's non-consecutive terms make him the 22nd and 24th president, and Trump's make him the 45th and 47th; each presidency is its own card, so both directions of recall stay unambiguous.
Sample cards
| Front | Back |
|---|---|
| 16th president (1861–1865) | Abraham Lincoln |
| 13th president (1850–1853) | Millard Fillmore |
| 24th president (1893–1897) | Grover Cleveland |
Who it’s for
Civics and AP US History students, anyone preparing for the citizenship test's history questions, and quiz-night people who are tired of guessing at the middle of the list.
